I get lost in the beauty
Of everything I see
The world ain’t half as bad
As they paint it to be
The beauty of the Strip illuminated itself to me as me and my friend (visiting from California) explored it yet again. We consumed of course the delicious Earl of Sandwich for dinner. I LOVE their holiday turkey.

If all the sons,
All the daughters
Stopped to take it in
Well hopefully the hate subsides and the love can begin
My history class transformed briefly into an Arts and Crafts class as I taught them the art of Japanese Origami. In preparation for Mother’s Day I taught them how to make paper hearts, to spread love to their homes. Some of them enjoyed it. Behavior wise, Cram is getting worse and worse each day, with a kid having the audacity to pull the fire alarm today. That, in addition to a few drug busts this past week, makes me feel better about leaving. On the flip side of that is the kids I will miss though who make life much easier for me on a day-to-day basis. Eventually I’ll have to “come home”.
Right now there’s a war between the vanities
But all I see is you and me
The fight for you is all I’ve ever known
