It’s time to add another obsession to my collection! Degrassi! Over the past 8 days, I have consumed over 8 seasons of content, and I love it! The drama from this show supercedes most other teenage dramas I have seen before. Unlike other teenage dramas, the characters are well developed, and the show had a big enough cast to not feel contrived. The only other shows I have felt about this way has been Season 1 of the O.C., and the original Beverly Hills 90210. (The new one is kind of lackluster). Like last summer, where I finished all 10 seasons of the Original Beverly Hills 90210, I plan to finish all 10 Seasons of Degrassi up to the present. [The show is still running to the present day].
I can see that the old cast of Degrassi is much more likeable and enjoyable than the new cast, but I’ll give the writers some credit and some time to develop the new ones. Emma Nelson was my favorite female cast member and Spinner Mason was my favorite male cast member. Regardless of this, the new cast has some tough shoes to follow, but I really think Holly J. Sinclair might be able to do the trick! We’ll see! 🙂

I really was disappointed at the fact that J.T. Yorke died. He was actually my favorite male character until some idiot at Lakehurst killed him.
Characters I never really liked: Ashley, Mia, & sometimes Craig (cause he was a man-whore), Paige got kind of annoying, Alex was never really likeable. Most of the new characters (Shrugs.).
I find myself thinking to myself Poor Emma or Poor Holly J whenever something bad happens to them.
