In anticipation for Thanksgiving, I have accumulated a list of things I’m thankful for:
1. Family
2. Hometown! Garden Grove. Although Stanton would be pretty damn close as a second one!
3. Friends: Both high school & college
3. Communications/Medium by which to express my feelings/ideas
4. Facebook/Youtube/Xanga/Aim/Wikipedia
5. Ability to satisfy Hunger: FOOD – White, Asian, Mexican, Black?
6. Education! Pyles (95% mexican, 2% white, 3% Asian) –> Stanford –> Alamitos –> Rancho –> UCSD!
7. Ability to pursue my dreams? Maybe work at FOX?
8. Music! Christmas music! Regular music…. Emo Music… Happy music. Life is a Song. Fireflies
9. Television! 24… Glee. House. American Idol. ! etc.,etc.
10. History! History is just interesting on its own. Specialization in US history.
11. Nature! Trees, birds, sun, moon, stars. FIREFLIES
12. Nice people. Caring people. People that keep an eye out for you! Could be random strangers (not the kind that give you candy)
13. Movies + Books. I put these in the same category to conserve space.
14. Cars/Transportation/Means by which to go places, although I don’t actually have a car myself
15. Money $$$$$$$
16. A current job. EH&S. With two great bosses, one a little more stricter than the other. Emphasis on ‘little’
17. Things to look forward to. Christmas. New Year’s. 24 (1.17.09), Glee Sectionals…. Winter Break!
18. Pictures. Ability to take pictures and videos. MEMORIES that last a lifetime. Yearbook photos. ahah. Little kid pictures.
19. Blogging. Ability to write things down/record my thoughts.
20. Numbers. Ability to count. Even though I DETEST MATH WITH A PASSION. Fingers.
21. Ability to be in a living body. Ability to move! Cells…. Whatever made me? Big Bang or God or Zeus…. or Allah. Thanks!
22. Boardgames/Videogames/ ENTERTAINMENT! Poker! FARMVILLE
23. Seasonsssss ! Weather! RAIN 😀
24. Ability to attain advice from people about life, and choose to use it to further my own ends . Ability to be my own person / not conform to society’s standards. Ability to do whatever I want. Meaning, no one can technically “force” me to do anything!
