I’m currently addicted to a song by Owl City – Fireflies, which is also currently number 1 on the Itunes Top 100! I’ll probably end this blog with lyrics from the song.
In other news, Glee has been in hiatus ever since the World Series. Now that it’s over, it returns tomorrow night: Veterans Day!. Exciting stuff. I will be @ Paw Retreat most of that day.
I realized overthinking things in life truly makes it more depressing, so as of now I’m going to stop thinking! Except on midterms and finals, of course…. And occasionally homework. I need to finish my POLI27 essay before I do anything else! I finally finished the autobiographies of Equiano (yawn), and Franklin. Apparently Benjamin Franklin listed 13 values to live by: Temperance, Silence, Order, Resolution, Frugality, Industry, Sincerity, Justice, Moderation, Tranquility, Chastity, and Humility. I will try to live my life to the extent of these 13 values – unfortunately, Franklin made a black mini-book where he dotted every trait he followed every single frigging day. I don’t know if I would be able to keep up with him in regards to that extent. That truly makes him overachiever to the extreme – but that won’t stop me from pursuing my goals.
I register for classes next week, I’ll probably list what I get on here, as I usually do – and my future winter quarter schedule? I’m excited for Thanksgiving, to finally have the opportunity to go home. MMMM. I’m also looking forward to Xmas this year – I can actually get gifts this year for everyone, cause I can afford it ! I need some more christmas card ideas though – I already covered poems, videos, ratings, etc. I need something catchy, new, and fast!
In other news, Mario Party is coming! 😀 I’m excited to play it all weekend, perhaps after I finish my essay.
