Flashback: Sophomore Year, High School

10th grade: So my sophomore year came, and so did a new me. I acquired new female friends by finally deciding to talk to them. Yet, obstacles still remained. I could now communicate with members of the opposite gender. Isn’t it sad that it took THIS LONG to happen? I know it’s pathetic. I can blame the past all I want, but at the end of the day I messed up by opening myself up (potentially too late). I had sucky social skills, and I could have tried a little harder. Just a regret. A huge one.

So I made even more friends, and tried to be nice to as many people as possible. Of course, I still couldn’t communicate with GIRLS I liked. It was hard. As soon as I liked a girl, I was so afraid of saying the wrong things in front of them that I just kept my mouth shut, as if I was shy all over again. Silly, right?

I got invested in a bunch of drama as well this year, but that was the highlight of the year as far as I’m concerned.

Anyway, I’m not going to name names, but I was quite invested in various females this year, sadly. I also had various classes including Lockhart (whom I didn’t really like, she was kind of mean), European AP Schirmer (She was an awesome teacher, Isaccson (he slurred a lot…. “If you don’t finish the lab… you’re not going to have time… to finish the lab”, and Magana (who was a good spanish teacher, but somehow I got an A-). I also had Math with Campbell/Batte, which wasn’t very fun, at all. PE was a drag as well, I suck at sports! I hate sports! I’m not a jock! But jocks get all the girls. 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁

I continued my legacy of making study guides for everyone this year (including the wonderful European AP, my first AP class ever)!
