I’m looking for a place somewhere only we know. I’m getting old and I need a place that I can rely on. Once I find it, I’ll let you know.
I hit a hot plethora of cities today in my everlasting quest for happiness. It included the following:
- Placentia – to visit my sister’s NEW RECENTLY PURCHASED HOUSE. I took my parents.
- Rowland Heights – to visit my sister at her Rite Aid Pharmacy (recently purchased by Walgreens)!
- Rancho Cucamonga – to visit my other’s sister tiny studio apartment and her cat Jumbo Jack (Yes, it is named after the Jack in the Box Burger).
- Ontario, where we had a delicious Chinese buffet and went “shopping” at Ontario Mills, the largest Outlet mall in the world!
- Buena Park, where I took my UCSD pals to a nice little Medieval Times showing. They mostly enjoyed it. My “situational vegetarian” friend made a bet with me saying that the blue night would overtake the red knight. He lost, and subsequently owes me some Boba. Never bet against your own knight. Our knight won! Yay!
- Anaheim, where we explored a local Fry’s Electronics.
- Garden Grove, where I would say my goodbyes to my sister who’s moving out to live in her new home. My last night here, since my Thanksgiving break is officially OVER! 🙁
