Day 315: Every teardrop is a waterfall

Today was a nice little day off in the middle of the week. Thank you to our Veteran’s for all they have done to protect our country. Every teardrop becomes a waterfall when I think about all the lives lost in needless wars ever since (Vietnam/Iraq included). What makes me weep even more so is the amount of soldiers coming back with PTSD or ailments much worse that will affect their livelihood forever.

To honor their memory, I’d rather have a more constrained foreign policy where we don’t endlessly go to war, which is why I believe Rand Paul won the foreign policy debate yesterday over the neocon Marco Rubio.

My day entailed relaxing, sleeping, watching various Youtube videos, eating, lesson planning, and organizing. It wasn’t very fun, but it was productive and I got what I needed to – done. Just in time for 2 more days of work starting tomorrow.

I turn the music up, I got my records on
From underneath the rubble sing a rebel song
Don’t want to see another generation drop
I’d rather be a comma than a full stop
