Day 310: Yellow Light

Many yellow lights were hit as we carpooled our way to Stella 5-6 Elementary School today for another day of professional development… It was slightly useful. The lunch was okay, but highly overrated – very health conscious for sure, but they forgot to provide us some much needed water.

When I came back to Rise, I stopped by my new room to see some newly set up tables. Thank you!

I then went to Wasabi with a co-worker for a brief reunion with Mr. Hanna! His energy was so highly missed and we caught up on our new lives that are now separate from one another (unless we see each other yet again next Tuesday). Everything feels so different now that he’s gone. I’m glad he’s in a much better place than I last saw him and he is enjoying his new job tremendously.

I went back to Garden Grove shortly thereafter to see a lovely new picture of my newly acquired passport.

Europe 2017 here I come! I’m looking for a new place to start, and maybe a nice little trip abroad will help me discover it. I’ll follow the yellow light, instead of chasing a fleeting green one.

I’m looking for a place to start and everything feels so different now
Just grab a hold of my hand I will lead you through this wonderland
Water up to my knees but sharks are swimming in the sea
Just follow my yellow light and ignore all those big warning signs
