Now that I’ve moved away from Las Vegas and am all settled down in Los Angeles California, the question remains: Am I happy now?
The short answer is a yes. I’m closer to home, and am more comfortable working with this group of students overall than the ones in Las Vegas. There are still some elements missing in my life and a bit of an organizational crisis sometimes at my charter school, but it remains to be seen how much that would actually affect me in the long run. Having student helpers willingly come after school to help me just makes the job that much easier.
I am a little sad that summer is “coming to an end” technically, with the end of Big Brother. The right person won out of the two remaining, but not out of the final three by any means.
I’m hoping to pick up the pieces and move forward towards a brighter happier tomorrow.
