I had a wonderful time today and feel awesome after spending it with three wonderful girls! The Circle of Life in which we share was blessed today with our friendship. It was a rather long car ride, resulting in a grand total of 2 and a half to 3 hours.
It was all worth it for the delicious ribs though (Trip 107!). 
And of course, we had dessert afterwards at Joe’s Italian Ice! A former student from Santiago recognized me and asked me “Hey, did you teach at Santiago?” I told her I was a student teacher. She said she remembered me because her boyfriend said I was her favorite teacher. She subsequently gave me a free large ice cream and didn’t ask me for any money! It was AWESOME!
Afterwards we went to Downtown Fullerton so my friend could get her ears pierced, and we could go to some hipster Coffee location. We went to Target afterwards, had to go back to the ear piercing place to get my friend’s ID, and separately shortly thereafter.
In summary, it was a great day encompassing a wide variety of events (and inappropriate and snide remarks). But you can’t have the a** without the sass, I suppose!
