Rock in Rio, Day 1. After taking the monorail from MGM to SLS Casino, it was time to enjoy the music (with of course some food and alcohol in between).

The top performances were:
1) Taylor Swift. Her 1989 2-hour tour performance was amazing, ending with of course the wonderful Shake it Off. She also gave a pep talk in between her performance that was really well-received (at least in my opinion) about how it’s okay to lose things in life, and everything happening for a reason. She came off very genuine and sincere and was an excellent conclusion to a wonderful first day.

2) Ed Sheeran. Just wonderful. Full of heart and soul. He later came out again to perform with Taylor Swift a duet.

3) Tove Lo. Excellent vocals and excellent performance.

4) Charli XCX. Full of energy

5) Jessie J: She was okay, but I was more focused on finding a good location on the Main Stage for Ed Sheeran by this point.
6) Echosmith: Really could have been better. But she’s young so I’m sure there’s room to improve. It helps that she was looking particularly good though… She can shake it off.

HERE ARE SOME VIDEOS (mostly of T Swizzle).
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate
Baby I’m just gonna shake, shake, shake
Shake it off
Heartbreakers gonna break, break, break
And the fakers gonna fake, fake, fake
Baby I’m just gonna shake, shake, shake
Shake it off, Shake it off
