I got to hear the people sing today, both symbolically and literally.
In the morning I helped check various persons in to the Rand Paul Rally, eventually getting a picture with the man myself. I’m happy to know that the people are singing for a candidate that will help fix the national debt and restore our country to its constitutional roots. After seeing how the media neglected his father in the previous campaign, it’s awesome to see Rand fighting back against the establishment.
In the evening, after some drinks with friends, I went to see Showstoppers, where a cast of super talented singers sang various tunes from various musicals. It was simply…. “fabulous”, as shouting out by a random spectator sitting behind us at the end of the show.
Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!

Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
