Day 51: The Saltwater Room

After a long day of work, it’s nice to be back in Garden Grove!

Today was a positive experience at work. I joked around with many students making pretty snide remarks, especially at my personal favorite. I also began noticing more clearly when students are visibly upset or saddened by something. I think my camp counseling skills are being put to good use when I talk to students on an individualized basis. It shows them that at least somebody cares. 6th period was 6th period as usual, which seems to be a common trend in all classes.

THEN. A VAN RIDE BACK HOME.

Some delicious Pho in the Saltwater Room that I call home.

Then, some wonderful boba with some wonderful friends. I then introduced them to Black Mirror, one of the best shows ever!

Time together is just never quite enough
When you and I are alone, I’ve never felt so at home
What will it take to make or break this hint of love?
We need time, only time
When we’re apart whatever are you thinking of?
If this is what I call home, why does it feel so alone?
