July has been a bit anti-climatic due to the sheer volume of free time extolled upon me in my post undergraduate career.

The most exciting activity done throughout the whole month would have to be Comic Con. But I shouldn’t discount the sheer amount of free food provided by my mother upon my arrival back in Orange County either… Nor the various friends I re-visited (mostly within the first 2 weeks of the month).
I can now say I’m a proud owner of a 2003 Toyota Corolla, and I can drive it anywhere without any supervision whatsoever. Mailboxes, here I come!
I will attend Cal State Fullerton next month with four classes (both 3 hours in length and in the exact same building). How convenient for me, except the fact that 2 of them happen to be at 8:30 AM. I got my campus ID card earlier this month as well, so hopefully I’ll be accessing library resources relatively soon….
I applied to three jobs, all serving exactly the same purpose: The Boys and Girls Club of Garden Grove, the Anaheim Achieves Program, and ThinkTogether. I got pre-employment and interviews with all three jobs, and they all accepted me. I think my interview skills have definitely improved since my sophomore year failures. For this sheer reason, I am only able to accept only one of the three job positions (they’re all after-school programs geared towards working with youth). I already turned down ThinkTogether but will eventually decide between Anaheim and Boys and Girls Club…. I’ll keep everyone in suspense until I finally decide.
And… in the sheer amount of free time I have had this month, I have happened to encounter Deja Vu in the things that I have done:
Big Brother Season 14 [2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010]
Playing Pokemon Gold/Ruby [2005]
Degrassi [2010]
The Outlets of Orange (Formerly Known as the Block) [2007, 2008, 2009]
Hell’s Kitchen [2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010]
The Simpsons [Birth-2009]
Comic Con [2010]
Design Sessions [2011]
7/11 FREE SLUSHIES [2009, 2010, 2011]
Volcano Tea [2010, 2011]
Reading Old Noteboosk [2010]
I finished the entire series of KYLE XY, which was pretty good except for the last season. Amanda & Kyle for life!!!!! I’m also glad Degrassi is back to being a decent series with relevant plots, although the new band “whisperhug” is terrible…..
What I plan to do until my part-time job and school starts is eventually start studying for the CSETs (in American history, World history, California history, Civics, and Economics), and doing P90x again. I’ve been doing pull-ups all month and I can proudly do 15 at a time now! My top 10 is below and Happy August to all :).
