In other news, I also had work this week for the first time (actual work). On Monday & Wednesday I worked at the Environmental, Health, and Safety Center where I got acquainted with various aspects of the office. I almost fell asleep on my first day cause I was super tired, but I got my own cubicle, so nobody saw. Also, the person that trained me on Wednesday told me the boss was pretty chill and trusting, so that should be fun. I also had work training for Conference Services on Wednesday from 5 to 8, which was okay. Also, outdoor movie night was that day, and I saw “I love you, Man” for a second time. It was still funny the second time around.
As my RA, I felt compelled to create a video of some sort for my RA. This was done in 10th week of college, of course I didn’t want to say anything cause all my online posts post to facebook – and it might get spreaded around. Anyway, she was quite surprised to see the video that took a LONGGGGGGGG time to film. Not having professional actors + the trickiness of coordinating things like people’s schedules make the film even harder to create. However, I was able to successfully do so even though… there were some editing as well as technical trouble in burning the disks.
In other news, I also played Larp last night, which was so fun. It was Isengard vs. Moredord (24-a-dor). We won 2/3, and took the title. I love playing with games like such…. I wish I could do so all day. After all that, virtually everyone of Stacy’s residents were going to watch a “movie”. We chose the notebook but instead showed the film we filmed for her. She was surprised.
The stressfulness of the pre-production notebooks for Cogn21 got to me this week, as my group didn’t show up for our meeting. Fortunately we met and were able to finish in time. All in all, I’ve learned that working in a group isn’t very fun. We have our “presentation finals” on Monday, as well as a formal paper due. I also have to study this weekend for my history as well as Cogn20 final. Until then, I won’t be blogging anytime soon. Bye!
