It was Kai’s first visit to the Cheesecake Factory. We mistakenly believed that it would be a baby friendly venue, until they told us no strollers were allowed. This is why Olive Garden is superior in every way imaginable.
Anyway, it was nice catching up again with some old (weeb) friends. Funny how people as soon as they get engaged suddenly believe in the concept of “the one”. People that are dating (or in the early phases) question the existence of such things. However, it all works out in the end, because people will eventually believe in it once they are married.
Kai was well behaved for the most part, but did not really want to be stuck in his stroller. Luckily we took turns holding him. Even Aunt Tien who has baby fever got her chance in doing so.
Here’s hoping Phillip and Josh can catch up soon so Kai will have some future weeb friends to play with.
