When I was a child, my dad used to take me to the Vietnamese barbershops for my haircut. The price ? $6
As the years went on, I continued this tradition of going to Vietnamese barbershops, always acknowledging their price point. There was a few times I deviated from this process, opting to get a haircut at a Fantastic Sam’s or SportsClips at La Jolla (with a coupon). The hair didn’t look that much better, despite costing nearly $20.
Which brings to my point of the day: The price of a Vietnamese haircut is now $12, sadly showing how much inflation is affecting our everyday lives.
When inflation and prices goes up, they rarely ever go down. So this is looking like the sad state of the world we’re living in now.
Haircuts are an essential good for humans. I usually hate my haircut immediately after getting it. 2 weeks later I start liking it. A month after that, it gets long and I don’t like it anymore. So I really only like my hair when it’s in the middle stages of growing.
I will continue to get Vietnamese haircuts till the day I die, unless of course I eventually go bald like Mr. Clean.
