California has been fortunate enough to receive an abundance of rain this year, and even hail and snow on occasion. Although I cannot personally attest to the latter because I had kept the children indoors as a disciplinary measure when it was “snowing” due to their indoor yelling.
Despite this, rain will always be a special occasion in California. Even though some people may become irritated by bad drivers during the rain, I welcome the showers. I find pleasure in driving through puddles and splashing everyone around me. One of my fondest memories of rain dates back to my elementary school days when we would have indoor recess. It provided an opportunity for me to play board games with many friends, which I much preferred to outdoor recess. That’s probably why I still like boardgames a lot to this day.
Additionally, luck was on my side during my wedding weekend as it did not rain at all, which would have added chaos to the somewhat, but not that stressful event. With this in mind, I hope that everyone in California and other regions worldwide have a pleasant and joyous rainy weekend ahead.
