I’ve never been the biggest jock in the world. Quite the opposite actually. And so, when the teachers were presented the option to play Dodgeball against students at an assembly, I clearly jumped at the opportunity.
The first hurdle was of course beating another team. Our team, Phil’s BBQ, obviously lost because we were playing a bunch of jocks (PE teachers and coaches). It’s okay though, because it was a very valiant effort, and at least I wasn’t the first teacher out.
In the end, I will never be a jock, but maybe I will improve my abilities in the future. I’m sure we would have beaten the students if we were given that opportunity.
