Kiyana Hendrix plays a critical role at Rise Kohyang Middle School. The reality is, her relationship building skills with students is so strong that she feels the need to always be their biggest advocate.
I hold absolutely nothing against her, and know fate has played a key role in shaping our life paths moving forward, and I wish her the best of luck this year. Without her, the school would be missing a critical piece. I truly do believe building relationships with students ultimately strengthens the culture of a school (especially the more troubling and often defiant students in the classroom.)
I wish her the best of luck continuing to be the greatest asset to the school, and hope she continues helping the current and future students succeed. Good luck 8th graders, and all my former co-workers, I miss you all!
