Day 192: Cindy Chagolla’s Life in Tanzania

Cindy taught for two years in Tanzania. Based on her experiences, she starved quite a lot in order to fit in with many of her students who sadly didn’t have enough food on their plate. She also failed to bring home an African husband to the United States. Even though corporeal punishment would have been acceptable there, she never beat any of her students – and that is truly a commendable achievement.

Because of her accomplishments she was placed on a preferential hire list and now works for the government granting citizenship to people. She is not corrupt though and will not give citizenship to any of your friends for free, so that makes her better than most politicians.

I support her endeavors in Northern California and hope we continue to keep in touch from this point forward.
