Though life in Portland might be difficult, Fiorella is getting by just fine taking care of her dog (even if the medical bills end up costing her $1000 a month). And the best part of Portland in general is that things are very dog-friendly and at a nice walking distance.

As she continues to evolve in Oregon, she is realizing how introverted the weather and the environment has made her over the past four years. As difficult as it is to make friends that aren’t flaky, I hope Fio realizes she is an amazing person and never loses sight of who she is as an individual.
The love she has for her dog is the kind of love I would want from my future wife, caring and gentle. I hope the rest of her time in Oregon goes well and her eventual migration to Washington DC is ultimately successful.
