It was John Nguyen’s first trip to Las Vegas, and so naturally with his first trip we had plenty of time for conversations, despite him being naturally quiet and introverted.
Our first conversation occurred in the car where we listened to Beatles music in preparation for the Cirque De Sol show. Little did John know the Beatles are dead and we weren’t actually seeing them performing live. Shrug.
We subsequently checked into the Rio before proceeding the Wicked Spoon Buffet. It was pretty delicious, but buffets make me bloated and disappointed in myself after I finish eating.
After a long day of gambling I ended up breaking even while John ended up gaining $60. Here’s to hoping the rest of his trip is Vegas is equally as enjoyable. More drinks and gambling tomorrow.
