Today I enjoyed life in another county, that of San Diego. Nothing says sd better than brunch, mimosas, the beach, Balboa Park, and of course phils bbq.
After brunch we went to Balboa Park, specifically the Reuben Fleet Science Center, a place I haven’t been at since 6 years ago when I went on a field trip with thinktogether. It was okay and the IMAX movie about planets was super dry, but Jennifer Lawrence’s voice was soothing enough to put me at rest.
The science center itself was kind of lame, filled with random video games for some reason. We also played with some puzzles and I was able to figure out how to solve a Tangram for the first time. Afterwards we went outside to walk around the park for a bit.
The trip obviously culminated in a visit to phils bbq, where I got vegetables for the first time in a while, since I was in the mood for something lighter. It was nice catching up with San Diego peeps, especially one I literally haven’t seen in years. We talked about random topics from movies to Linkin Park, but in the end it doesn’t even matter.
With 125 trips down, I have officially gone 50 times after my college graduation and departure from ucsd.
Oh man this was worse than yesterday’s blog 😴😴😴🌈🌈
