Despite always being on different wavelengths in life, I am glad to have had Theresa by my side for most of my adult existence. I’ve always felt that you’ve always been ahead of me at life, whether it was social interactions in middle school, dating in high school, or marriage, driving, buying a house, and having a future kid post-college. Despite feeling behind in life, I am glad that you and I are able to maintain our friendships throughout the year.
She is considerate, knows who she is, and such a comfortable person to be around and maintain contact with. She is very honest, and a very accepting person who will always be a special part of my life until the day I outlive her. Here are some of our shared experiences from the past:
- In high school, we didn’t necessarily interact much outside of school. However, you did like all my Myspace photos everytime I asked and for that, I am consistently thankful. We also chatted on AIM quite often, and I thank you for my Winter Formal dance (after I won King, despite not having a date). Despite hanging out with all those Asians on the benches, you were never judgmental and never mean to me even though you were part of a different social group. For the most part, I felt much like a loser and outsider in high school.

- After high school is when we interacted much more often, including of course our interactions in Garden Grove at Kaju, Food, Bowling, Movies, and attempting to iceskate (but never actually doing so, cause I never had someone to bring). In college, you visited me quite often and we went to my favorite restaurant of all time, Phil’s BBQ. I’m glad we have had the opportunities to share so many memories in San Diego despite being farther away.

- After I finished college, we maintained contact every now and then. I was a part of Tim’s wedding proposal, despite messing up my part. I even got to witness the happiest day of your life at wedding, and celebrating with you.

I hope we can continue to maintain our connections through random food outings. I promise that we will eventually go ice skating once I find a significant other.

Thank you for everything, friend. Welcome to your tape. #26reasonswhy
