Everything is awesome when you’re part of a team, whether it’s
a) Volunteering with useless children
b) Eating Korean Food with useless adults
c) Watching the Lego Batman movie with useless brother-in-laws
d) Eating the worst Teriyaki Chicken I have ever tasted in my life, despite it being overhyped (Never going back to Apollo Burgers again).
The kids were arguing in the morning about whose car they would get to be in on the way to volunteer. Spoiled brats. As for actual volunteering, I doubt they expected that many people to show up, because when we came in they said “wow, there are quite a lot of you”. Moving buckets which probably they thought would take 2 hours ended up only taking 20 minutes.
The lego Batman movie was pretty entertaining, but I still think nothing will ever top the magic of the original lego movie.
