I tried a neat trick with my Period 5 today, making them do a study guide instead of playing Grudgeball (which I played with my four other periods). I know now to probably not even bother trying to do fun things in the class, because they can’t handle it. I’d much rather have silence and boredom than out-of-control chaos (I much prefer controlled chaos). Who knows how far I’ll go?
Dinnertime was served with Japanese curry. I’m glad to have found a duplicate version of the Cocoichibanya I love so much in Irvine.
Afterwards I got some Asian snacks and… Emergen-C (just in case I get sick), which I’ve nicely recovered from mostly.
Tomorrow should be a nice and easy day (students are testing), which will be a nice break from the week’s shenanigans.

See the line where the sky meets the sea it calls me
And no one knows, how far it goes
If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me
One day I’ll know, if I go there’s just no telling how far I’ll go
