The first day of 2017 starts with the greatest meal possible: a grand feast at Phil’s BBQ.

This year’s project, entitled Project 26, will encompass a variety of different 26-segments where I will pursue a different task or goal. For the first 26 days of the year, I aspire to do something “unique” each day so that my life is not super repetitive, and will document my exploits here via a photo a day (similar to the 365 project).
This year’s resolutions include no drinking alcohol in the United States and trying to assimilate more into Los Angeles culture. That includes spending more time on the weekends in Los Angeles and “attempting” to meet more people, potentially of platonic interest.
The rest of the day included:
– Seaport Village, including a free magic show
– Playing of Exploding Kittens, which I lost twice
– A short expedition at Balboa Park
– A failed trip for food to Lolita’s Taco Shop & Pho Ca Dao

This resulted in of course a trip to Tofu House, a hotspot destination when I used to live in San Diego (but not as good as Kaju).
The night ended with a short conversation with my parents and a random Skype session.
Each day I will end my blog post with a summary of my life from 2010 to 2016 from the day of the post.
